About Us
EMPOWER: Women Changing Music is an initiative dedicated to promoting fairness and gender equity in the music industry.
By spotlighting women composers and musicians, EMPOWER creates an environment that celebrates women, broadening the historically male-dominated canon and providing an outlet for positive change. Centred on live events, EMPOWER offers performance opportunities to emerging artists and provides a space for dynamic, thought-provoking discussions.
EMPOWER advocates for equity in the music industry by celebrating women, championing diversity, and empowering future industry trailblazers to express themselves boldly, both musically and personally. Through music and discussion, we aim to inspire meaningful change.
