Job Description
As Marketing Manager at Wentworth Woodhouse, you'll develop and deliver audience-focused marketing campaigns that grow visitor numbers, increase income and strengthen the profile of this nationally important historic house and site. Working across digital marketing, PR, partnerships, content, brand management and audience development, you'll play a pivotal role in the next phase of the organisation's growth.
Job Requirements
Lead and deliver the marketing strategy to support visitor growth, income, and brand awareness. Plan and implement integrated campaigns across digital, print, PR, and partnerships to promote the House, Gardens, exhibitions, events, and commercial activity. Manage digital marketing (SEO, SEM, email, social, CRM, content) and website performance to improve engagement and conversions. Oversee brand consistency, communications, and reputation. Develop partnerships and PR opportunities, manage budgets, suppliers, and campaign performance reporting. Use audience insight and data to improve targeting and effectiveness. Support commercial activity across retail, hospitality, and events. Line manage the Marketing Assistant and contribute across the business.
Job Responsibilities
Significant marketing experience, ideally in heritage, tourism, arts, hospitality, or cultural sectors. Proven success delivering integrated campaigns that grow audiences, engagement, or income. Strong digital marketing skills including SEO, SEM, email, social media, CRM, and content creation. Experience of managing budgets, external agencies, and campaign performance reporting. Ability to analyse data and apply audience insight. Strong copywriting, communication, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience of line management or mentoring. Proficient in marketing tools (e.g. CMS, CRM, Adobe/Canva). Commercially aware, creative, and results-driven, with strong stakeholder relationship skills. CIM qualification or equivalent experience desirable
