For our Film & TV Facilitator Open Call, we are inviting experienced professionals from the film and television industries to join us as creative facilitators.

Job Description

Are you an experienced film or TV professional eager to share your knowledge and shape the next generation of creatives? Register your interest to be added to our dedicated team of industry facilitators and bring your expertise to upcoming projects with children and young people in Rochdale and surrounding areas. As a facilitator, you'll lead dynamic, hands-on sessions in your area of expertise - whether it's directing, editing, sound, cinematography, or another film department specialism.

We're building our Film & TV Facilitator Team, inviting passionate industry professionals from the film and television industries to get involved. This is your chance to connect with like-minded peers and be considered for inspiring roles that support young and emerging creatives-including an exciting upcoming opportunity from October 2026 to February 2027.
As part of the facilitation team, you could range from leading filmmaking workshops and skills masterclasses to providing mentorship and supporting project development-all while working directly with young people and emerging creatives in Rochdale and beyond.

What We Offer:

Job Requirements

To be considered as a Film & TV Industry Facilitator, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over,
- Have demonstrable professional credits in your film/TV specialism,
- Have experience delivering creative workshops or training, preferably with young people or community groups,
- Be able to travel to Rochdale and other local venues as required,
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills,
- Show a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion,
- Have knowledge of safeguarding and best practice when working with young people (training may be provided when necessary)

Job Responsibilities

Facilitators play a key role in guiding participants through creative processes, sharing industry insights, and fostering an inclusive, inspiring environment. You may be asked to:
- Lead practical workshops in your specialist area (e.g. directing, editing, sound, cinematography, production)
- Support young people in developing film projects from concept to completion,
- Share professional experiences and career pathways,
- Offer constructive feedback and mentorship,
- Attend project planning and evaluation meetings.
