Job Description

Warwick Arts Centre, the largest multi-venue arts centre outside London, is looking for an experienced, adaptable and technically skilled Stage Technician to join the team. We're committed to creating an environment where everyone belongs, built on fairness and equity, that reflects the diversity of our city. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
As an active member of the Technical team, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing live events to life, supporting the delivery of all technical aspects of our live programme and conference events. You'll need to be communicative, collaborative, positive and pro-active.
Specialising as a stage technician, your work will involve counterweight flying, load-ins and fit-ups, and running shows, alongside AV knowledge and basic lighting and sound operation. You'll liaise closely with visiting companies and hires for incoming productions, upholding the highest standards of technical presentation while maintaining a keen awareness of health and safety regulations.
You'll also help maintain all equipment associated with the stage, auditorium and rehearsal/hire spaces, and assist with inspections to ensure compliance with current legislation and licensing requirements.
Flexibility is key in this industry, so you'll need to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Please note a 5% availability allowance is included in the advertised salary.
