Job Summary
Job Description
We need stewards to walk alongside the parade (45min long parade - about 1 mile long if that) - to keep the parade together, answer questions and carry out safety procedures, lost child procedures and other safety protocols as necessary.
We also need stewards for the main carnival site - to monitor numbers, be first point of contact, be on the hydration station, pick up litter, look after artists and other bits and pieces.
We are a friendly, volunteer, community lead arts festival and would love for you to join us in delivering a really fun and joyful day!!
We have two volunteer briefings - you must attend one - Tuesday 30th June 5.30 - 6pm at The William Booth Complex in Sneinton
Weds 8th July 6.30 - 7 Online.
Job Requirements
Ready and willing to steward, DBS check if possible, happy to speak to people, happy to be at a festival for the day, ability to use a walkie talkie is a bonus.
Job Responsibilities
To look after the general public, to report any difficulties on site.
