Job Description

We are recruiting for an artist tutor to teach our 12-week ceramics courses - Coloured Clays, Porcelain and Basic Mould Making.

We are looking for an artist tutor who is passionate about the arts and informal learning experiences and enjoys teaching Ceramics courses and workshops. You will be taking over two long running courses in a highly skilled ceramic discipline.

These 12 week courses run for 5 hours per week on Friday's between 10am to12:30pm and 1pm to 3:30pm. The rate of pay is £22.26 per hour.

Job Purpose

To deliver the tuition of a 12-week Coloured Clays, Porcelain and Basic Mould Making courses for adults, as part of MAC's Learning & Participation programme, starting in Autumn 2026.

We are looking for someone to deliver both ceramic courses for the Autumn Term 2026 with the view to continue in a permanent role.

Coloured Clays, Porcelain and Basic Mould Making (CE95 Autumn)

Fridays 10:00-12:30
Level - Beginners/Improvers

Coloured Clays, Porcelain and Basic Mould Making (CE101 Autumn)

Fridays 13:00-15:30
Level - Beginners/Improvers
