Location: London (EC1M 5AD) / Hybrid (Occasional remote work)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata / FTE (Depending on experience)
Contract: 12 Months Fixed Term, 4 days per week
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Flexibility required for occasional evenings/weekends)
The Role
The Goldsmiths' Centre is seeking an organized and proactive Professional Training Coordinator to cover a 12-month maternity leave. Working 4 days a week, you will coordinate the delivery of our short course programmes and partner initiatives, directly supporting the Centre's charitable goals and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Course Coordination: Plan and execute on/offline short courses alongside the Head of Professional Training and Curriculum Manager. Manage tutor bookings, student communications, and course materials.
Operations & Admin: Act as the primary liaison between marketing, tech, and admin teams. Manage diaries, maintain accurate CRM records, handle course enquiries, and book physical/virtual spaces.
On-Site Support: Welcome participants, co-host live sessions, and act as a duty manager when required (TOIL provided for out-of-hours work).
Financials & Marketing: Ensure timely course promotion to hit recruitment targets. Track budgets, pricing, and costing records.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 3+ years in arts programming, arts administration, or education admin.
Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the goldsmithing, jewellery, or broader creative sector.
Skills: Highly organized team player with excellent written communication skills for marketing content. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and CRMs.
Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Shopify, digital course delivery, or a creative degree.
Job Requirements
Experience: 3+ years in course/arts programming, arts administration, or education administration. Proven experience working within an art/design-related field, with a solid understanding of the goldsmithing and jewellery industry.
Organization & Delivery: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Proven ability to prioritize a varied workload, manage multiple stakeholder relationships (tutors, students, partners), and coordinate end-to-end event/course logistics.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and the ability to write engaging content for course marketing.
IT Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically advanced Excel) and experience managing customer databases/CRMs.
Desirable: A degree in a creative/jewellery field; experience with digital education delivery; familiarity with Shopify, Digitickets, or Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Oversee the operational delivery of a thriving and engaging short course programme, relevant to trade demands
Support a timely marketing schedule for student recruitment
High level of student and tutor satisfaction
