The Role
Working in the People and Culture team and reporting to the Senior People Partner, the People Partner will deliver a high quality, inclusive, problem solving, and people focused HR service to Royal Museums Greenwich managers and staff.
Salary: £10,500 pro rata (£42,000 FTE)

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a generalist advisory HR role or HR team, providing added value and reactive and proactive HR support, case work, absence management, including advising on reasonable adjustments, and managing employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion initiatives. The role holder will be highly organised with an ability to effectively prioritise and support others with prioritizing, have a strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR requirements, and have experience of iTrent or equivalent HRIS.
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include advising managers and employees on people related matters, family policies, flexible working and annual leave, and coordinating the probation review process. The role holder will develop and maintain people related systems, tools, procedures, and ways of working, consult with staff on policies and procedures and use these outcomes to create and deliver tools such as manager guidance packs and staff and manager workshops. Employee Relations casework makes up 70% of the role, the role holder will be managing employee relations case work, including minute taking in investigations, disciplinary and appeal hearings, producing letters and relevant documentation to support. They will oversee delivery of Royal Museum Greenwich's Wellbeing Strategy and Wellbeing Champion programme, ensure the organisation is compliant with the Disability Confident scheme, and work to develop initiatives to embed inclusive practices across the organisation.
