Job Description
Who we're looking for
Punchdrunk Enrichment is looking for a Freelance Production Manager to deliver a new project, Playdates, co-produced with London Museum. A free experience for families will bring magic to the museum's galleries, in pursuit of one of London's most elusive creatures. Recommended for ages 7+.
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all elements of practical and operational delivery for the project. Working closely with a small team and various stakeholders to make sure the project is delivered on time, safely and on budget. The project involves elements of live performance, technology, detailed props and must be able to be carried out in a public setting.
A key part of the role will be working collaboratively with partners at London Museum, who are working towards opening their new site, following a decade-long transformation of Smithfield's historic General Market building. Our partners have a large and growing team, and the Production Manager, in collaboration with the producing team, will need to liaise with different roles, including the curatorial, design, operations and visitor services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who:
Thrives on detail and takes pride in getting the small things exactly right
Balances creative ambition with practical delivery on time and on budget
Enjoys close collaboration with a creative team and venues
Relishes problem-solving in a unique, fast-moving environment
Is interested to work within a heritage or museum setting
Cares about the experience and impact on audiences and participants
Stays calm and organised under pressure
This is a fixed-term freelance role for 16-18 days from August 2026 - January 2027. £250 per day.
Responsible to: Bethany Haynes, Senior Producer (Punchdrunk Enrichment)
