The venue incorporates a 395-seat main theatre, a 148-seat studio theatre, a gallery, a creation space, dance, drama, and art studios, a caf and bar, and other public spaces.
Over 269,000 people visit artsdepot each year to watch shows in its theatres, take part in classes or explore their creativity in its schools and outreach projects.
artsdepot also nurtures new creative talent and supports artists through artist development initiatives, including residencies and workshops.

About the role
The organisation is looking for a Head of Finance to join the senior leadership team to provide strategic and operational leadership to a small and dedicated team.
You will be responsible for the financial management of artsdepot, in alignment with organisational strategic plans and budgets and in compliance with Charity and Company accounting standards and practices.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an operational and strategic leader to work alongside the senior leadership team in leading the development of the organisation's finance strategy.
As a qualified accountant with a strong interest in the arts, you will ideally bring a background in leading a finance function in the arts, cultural or charitable sector.
You will have a solid understanding of charity accounting and reporting standards with experience in analysing financial information for decision-making, scenario planning, forecasting and budgeting.
The role involves developing venue hire and events income and managing external ICT services. Experience in these areas would be an advantage.
