Job Summary
Job Description
The Children's Manager will safeguard the children, lead and schedule a team of chaperones, liaise with parents and carers, and ensure all safeguarding, welfare and licensing requirements are met throughout the tour. The role will also help to ensure the production runs smoothly and consistently, adapting to challenges whilst maintaining the show's original artistic vision.
Job Requirements
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:
Hold a current DBS certificate and chaperone license.
Have experience of chaperoning children aged 8-13 in a professional theatre environment.
Experience of managing teams within a professional theatre or stage production environment.
Have knowledge of the regulatory requirements in relation to the duties of chaperoning.
Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding procedures and best practice.
A commitment to providing the highest levels of child centred care and safeguarding.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong administration and scheduling skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
