Job Summary
Job Description
The Head of LX will oversee all aspects of the lighting operation and ensure the production runs smoothly and consistently throughout the tour, adapting to challenges whilst maintaining the show's original artistic vision.
Job Requirements
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:
Professional theatre experience relevant to this post.
An understanding and practical knowledge of the principles and safe working practices of theatre lighting, electrical installation and theatre rigging.
Experience leading and managing a lighting team in a touring or large-scale theatrical environment.
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
An understanding and appreciation of other theatre departments and the resident creative team.
The ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing demands and deliver solutions in a fast-paced touring environment.
A strong commitment to health and safety, including safe working practices when working at height.
Appropriate IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
