Job Summary
Job Description
The design, finish and feel of the Sir Bobby Robson Institute is to be further enhanced through a series of commissioned and integrated artworks.
Passionate and knowledgeable about the arts and the role of creativity, you will lead delivery of SBRI Arts Plan for Newcastle Hospitals Charity, working in partnership with a range of diverse organisations and community groups.
You will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for creative community engagement, commissioning artworks, and for health and wellbeing. You will support the Head of Arts Programmes, in delivery of the SBRI Arts Plan.
You will have experience of managing arts projects and have awareness of best practice of working with artists. You will have excellent organisational management skills and be able to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, such as Trust staff, patients, artists, cultural and community partners.
You will be enthusiastic about the Newcastle Hospital Charity Arts Programme, arts & health, and keen to be a strong advocate for the SBRI Arts Plan across the Trust. You will have specialist knowledge of arts commissioning and will stay informed of current arts practice.
