Job Description
The Inspire Youth Arts (IYA) team deliver a range of inclusive music, dance and digital projects for 11-25 year olds. Based at The Old Library in Mansfield, but working across Nottinghamshire, we engage over 1500 young people each year. Our programme is an exciting mix of:
Regular weekly sessions
One-off workshops, projects, and intensives
Events and performance showcases
Installations
Mentoring, career and industry focused pathways
We create opportunities which develop young people's creativity, confidence, employability and wellbeing. IYA places access and inclusion at the heart of all its work.
We are seeking a Creative Producer to support our delivery of arts and cultural opportunities for young people. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced team of producers, developing our offer for young people and ensuring access to high-quality experiences. The postholder will be required to work dynamically with a range of partners, artists, stakeholders and funders. While working across several arts forms, we are seeking candidates with specialisms in music and/or dance and/or digital arts.
We are looking for individuals with experience in the cultural or creative sectors, who have a strong understanding of events programming and management. A flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to teamwork, and excellent project management and communication skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential.
Working 22.2 hours per week including some weekend and evening working, the post holders will be based at The Old Library in Mansfield, with home working supported. Working days and patterns can be negotiated, except for Tuesdays, which must be in-person at The Old Library. The ability to travel across the county by your own means is essential.
Job Requirements
1. A nationally recognised arts qualification and / or relevant industry experience.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of excellent customer service.
3. Knowledge of participatory arts sector locally, regionally and nationally.
4. Knowledge of music or dance or digital art
1. Experience of customer focused service delivery within the arts sector.
2. Experience of planning and delivering projects, events and activities within relevant sectors.
3. Excellent organisational skills, delivering projects to time, budget and quality standards.
4. Experience of organising your own work and that of others.

1. Supervise a range of freelance artists, casual support staff and volunteers
2. Management of multiple arts projects
3. Ensuring good customer services whilst managing multiple priorities and streams of activity
4. Accountability to a range of funders and partner bodies
