Job Summary

PQA, a leading provider of weekend performing arts training, is currently recruiting for a teaching team for the new Saturday academy opening in Bournemouth in September

Job Description

You will need have a wide-ranging knowledge of practical drama and be able to teach a range of subjects which might range from Improv to Stand Up, Shakespeare to contemporary text and Immersive to Devised Theatre.
Experience of working with young people is essential.
This is a part-time position for 3 hours per week. Hourly rate for teaching is £25 per hour. Deadline for applications is midday on 30/8/2026

Job Requirements

Relevant industry knowledge and performing experience
Experience of working with young people
A DBS on the update is required for this position - we can arrange this for the successful applicant.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching of the Comedy & Drama module for young people aged from 6-18 years
Planning suitable lessons and delivering as required.
Collaboration with other modules to produce shows and events
