Job Summary

PQA, a leading provider of weekend performing arts training, is currently recruiting for a teaching team for the new Saturday academy opening in Bournemouth in September

Job Description

You will need practical skills in acting, singing and movement, be able to create your own lesson plans ranging from outer space to under the sea to provide sessions exploring stories, songs and characters. Poppets is high-energy, educational and fun!
PQA follows safer recruiting. An enhanced DBS on the update service will be required and can be arranged.
This is a part-time position for 4 hours per week. Hourly rate for teaching is £20 per hour (1.5 hours) with remainder of the session at assistant rate of £15 per hour (2.5 hours).

Job Requirements

Relevant industry knowledge experience
Experience of working with young people aged 4-6 years

Job Responsibilities

Teaching of the Poppets module for young people aged from 4-6 years
Planning suitable lessons and delivering as required.
Produce short shows (or work sharing events) for parents to watch
