Job Summary
Job Description
You will take an empty field or building and turn it into a Wildkind event, then hold the whole thing together when it goes live. Across Camp Wildfire, Camp Kindling and Winter Wildfire, you will own delivery end to end: site and logistics, build and breakdown, crew and suppliers, infrastructure and AV, and the live run of show. The show is yours to run on the ground, leading the crew and making the calls in the moment. It is hands-on and weekend-real, in all weathers, with early starts, late nights and event-period nights on site.
Wildkind is a founder-led, profitable and growing events company, with a mission to spark curiosity, encourage endeavour and create joy.
Key information:
- Salary: £44,000 to £52,000 a year
- Full time, 5 days a week, hybrid (minimum 2 days in our London office), plus residential time on site at events
- Location: London, with travel to rural event sites
- 30 days annual leave including public holidays, £1,000 learning budget, profit share, Bupa health and dental
- Application deadline: 30 July 2026
- Start date: Sep/Oct 2026
We publish the full hiring range and benchmark pay at the 60th percentile of the market. No cover letter: you answer five application questions on our form, and a human reads every application.
Job Requirements
Proven end-to-end delivery of live outdoor or temporary events on the ground: you have run build, breakdown and the live run of show, and held the final call under time pressure. You have personally authored or co-authored event safety documentation (Event Safety Management Plans or equivalent) and worked within SAG, licensing and Purple Guide requirements. A track record of recruiting, briefing and managing freelance onsite crew and suppliers, and rebooking the best. Enough working knowledge of the production stack (power, welfare and temporary infrastructure, AV, rigging, sound and lighting) to brief and challenge suppliers. Comfortable delivering to budget and flagging variances before they are incurred.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and run site logistics, build, breakdown and the live run of show across the portfolio, owning routine event-day decisions. Author and maintain Event Safety Management Plans and event documentation, and take them through SAG, licensing and Purple Guide sign-off. Own first-line incident response on site. Source, book, brief and coordinate onsite suppliers and handle advancing. Recruit, brief and manage the seasonal freelance onsite crew, and rebook the best. Specify and deliver shared infrastructure (stages, marquees, power). Capture production and delivery requirements in our systems, and keep schedules, contingency and emergency plans current.
