About the role
The Bodleian Libraries are seeking an experienced and highly organised Internal Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a varied programme of events across one of the world's leading cultural and academic institutions.
From prestigious fundraising dinners and exhibition openings to award ceremonies, public engagement events and special celebrations, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in bringing the Bodleian's vision to life through outstanding events.
As Internal Events Manager, you will lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of events across the Bodleian Libraries' unique venues, including the Old Bodleian Library and Weston Library.
Working closely with colleagues across the Libraries and the wider University, you will oversee all aspects of event delivery, from concept development and budgeting to logistics, stakeholder management and on-the-day delivery.
This is a full-time, permanent role, with the opportunity to work from home one day per week. As this is an events role, regular evening and weekend working will be required. Time off in lieu will be provided for additional hours worked.

Job Requirements
About You
You will be an experienced events professional with a proven track record of delivering high-profile events.
You will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, experience managing budgets and outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience within a university, cultural, heritage or similarly complex organisation would be an advantage.
