London Performance Studios is seeking an Administrator. This is a broad-reaching, public-facing role that supports the smooth and efficient running of systems and processes across organisational and building operations, studio hires, financial admin, and programme delivery.

Job Title: Administrator
Employer: London Performance Studios (LPS)
Hours of Work: Part-time, 4 days per week (0.8 FTE), with occasional weekend and evening work for studio hires and events
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £28,800 (£36,000 Full-Time Equivalent)

The Administrator is the foundation for the everyday organisation of London Performance Studios. This is a broad-reaching, public-facing role that supports the smooth and efficient running of systems and processes across organisational and building operations, studio hires, financial admin, and programme delivery.

The Administrator is line managed by the General Manager, with whom they work with to support building maintenance and communications. They also offer administrative assistance to the Producer to support programme delivery. They are a first point of contact for general enquiries, and independently manage the studio hires, office operations, and contribute to general and financial administration.

Job Requirements

Proven administrative experience, preferably within arts, performance, or venue management
Experience managing booking systems, calendars, and maintaining accurate records
Excellent customer service skills as a first point of contact for visitors and stakeholders
Strong financial administration skills, including invoice processing, payment tracking and use of accounting software (e.g. Xero)
Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to coordinate multiple schedules, deadlines, and maintenance tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a sensitivity to differing communication styles and approach to the diverse needs of artists, contractors, neighbours and internal team
Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, accessibility, and presentation
Ability to work flexibly and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
Collaborative mindset and ability to build effective working relationships

Job Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for the building
Support the General Manager in the maintenance and repair of all studios and shared spaces
Liaise with studio hirers and visitors, responding to daily email and phone enquiries, sharing access information and issuing booking information
Maintain up-to-date records of studio bookings and usage via the organisation's booking software
Share weekly updates and relevant notices with hirers, internally within the team, and with neighbours in the Penarth Centre to ensure awareness of activity across the building
Support the Producer to deliver the Talent Development programmes, including preparing open calls and liaising with artists
Support the Producer and the Director to deliver the Artistic Programme through general administrative assistance, such as ticketing, promotion and scheduling of front of house staff. At times this may require more hands-on assistance to deliver productions
