Job Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator with experience of working in a creative venue or organisation to support Hoxton Hall build regular audiences for our programme, celebrate what we do and encourage people to feel they belong in our venue.

Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to start as soon as possible for one year to build on our progress of building new audiences of all kinds who feel they belong at Hoxton Hall to our emerging live and participatory programme.

The Marketing Coordinator will bring imagination, creativity, and new ideas to ensure that Hoxton Hall reaches it goals in building relationships with its community, performances are full, and spaces are being hired. They will be responsible for the overall marketing, PR and sales operation of the Hoxton Hall charity and its trading subsidiary, Hoxton Works.

Our approach to what we do is focused on a creative health approach which celebrates the idea that engaging in cultural activities of any kind is good for our wellbeing and improves health outcomes.

This role will work closely with the CEO, Programme Producer, Programme Coordinator Creative Health and Front of House teams as well as Artists and Promoters and would be working with Hoxton Hall at an exciting time of growth and development

Reporting to: CEO

Direct Reports: Freelance designers

Salary: £19,464 per annum

Hours: 21 hours per week (We can be flexible on days of week and times. Evenings and weekends required on occasion)

Holidays: 15 days (excluding public holidays) per annum (i.e., pro rata to full tie
equivalent of 25 days per annum)

Job Requirements

Among other requirements outlined in the Job Pack:
Significant and relevant experience in marketing within a cultural venue
Professional experience in a cultural setting of working with artists and teams to create and deliver successful marketing campaigns that created well attended and busy performances
Experience of comms for community and participation work
Previous experience of box office systems, merchant accounts, card payments and cash handling procedures
Experience of Ticketing experience such as Spektrix or Ticketsolve
Experience of dealing with contractors to a budget and time frame
Experience in the management and upkeep of websites.
Experience of developing effective digital campaigns through use of social media, online advertising
Understanding, interest and ability to engage in a variety of art forms including theatre, cabaret, circus, music and visual arts

Job Responsibilities

Among other responsibilities outlined in the Job Pack:
To work with the CEO, Programme Producer and where relevant freelance marketing professionals to deliver and further develop marketing and comms strategies and branding that includes all elements of Hoxton Hall including our Live Programme, Creative Health, space and office rents & events.
To be a key part of the Hoxton Hall team and to collaborate with everyone so that all aspects of what we do are well promoted, attended and supported.
Working closely with the Programme Producer to develop relationships with our Live Programme Artists, Associate Artists and Partners to create and gather content, copy that delivers successful and relevant marketing campaigns for our programme.
Collaborate with the CEO and wider team at Hoxton Hall to deliver our Strategic Plan.
To lead on the design elements of our programme including our two seasons "Festive Follies" and "Rooted and Rising" working with designers.
