Job Summary

Crossroads Live are seeking a Deputy Stage Manager for our UK and Ireland tour of Annie. Currently touring until March 2027.

Job Description

The Deputy Stage Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all rehearsals and performances and other related departmental activities.

Job Responsibilities

To act as Stage Manager on agreed performances to cover other roles within the department for holiday and sickness cover, as required
Oversee performances and look after every facet of the show to ensure its smooth and safe delivery
Sit at the DSM desk during the show, following the script and calling every technical cue
Ensure that all other crew members perform the correct technical cues at correct times and ensure that effects only happen if it is safe to do so
Conduct upkeep of the book should any changes be required
Have an awareness of understudy and swing performances ahead of each show and making necessary adjustments, if any
Teaching the book to any book cover and collate show notes and reports after each performance alongside the Company Manager
Feeding back information through show reports to show departments and the general management and producing teams
Together with relevant members of the producing team, ensure safe, clean and efficient working
