Job Summary

Avalon are looking for a Company Manager to work on the UK tour of Operation Mincemeat. Enjoying a phenomenal run in London’s West End and on its first national tour, Operation Mincemeat has an exciting opening as Company Manager for the second half of the UK Tour.

Job Description

The Company Manager will hold responsibility for communication between departments, and between the performing company and general management, as well as pastoral care, daily logistical organisation of the production, and administrative operations such as payroll, transport, and scheduling.

Start date: Monday 31st August 2026 (possibility of earlier start date to be discussed if available).

End date: Saturday 28th November 2026

Performances: 8 performances per week

Deadline: Wednesday 15th July 2026, 10am

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have…

- Previous Company Management experience touring a large-scale production.
- A strong understanding and practical knowledge of the union guidelines for Equity, BECTU and MU.
- Excellent communication skills, sensitivity and understanding, with the ability to build and effectively maintain positive working relationships across a range of individuals.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial acumen.
- A strong ability to remain calm and react appropriately in high-paced environments with conflicting factors to manage.
