Job Summary

Sinfonia Viva, the orchestra of the East Midlands, is seeking new Board members to enhance the current skills of our Directors, and to help drive the organisation forward as a creative and musical force within the region.

Job Description

Sinfonia Viva is seeking new Board members to enhance the current skill set of our Directors. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with experience and expertise in the areas of finance, marketing, health & wellbeing, education, and those who have a strong network of contacts within the East Midlands who are able to broker introductions and act as advocates for Sinfonia Viva.

We are keen to hear from applicants from across the East Midlands to ensure the Board is representative of the geographic area we cover, and also from people who have a diverse range of lived experiences who can bring new perspectives and insight to the organisation.

Applicants should have the time and commitment to attend quarterly meetings (held as hybrid meetings) and contribute to one of the Board's sub-committees which also meet in a hybrid format quarterly. Board members undertake an initial term of 3 years, and undertake the role on a voluntary basis. However, we are able to reimburse travel costs for in person attendance at meetings.
