Job Summary
Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities include:
To create and support content production within our ESA Productions team and creative office.
Work with production team colleagues to make high quality media content for client partners, responding to creative production briefs.
Working with film and media production trainees to plan, produce and post produce media productions.
To liaise with partner clients such as Sky Studios Elstree, The National Theatre and ScreenSkills. Responding to creative briefs to coordinate and present a suitable pitch and associated production.
To produce moving image and still image/graphic design content.
To maintain and manage the safe keeping of film and media production kit and technology including loaning and hire systems and processes.
To support the training of student producers through collaboration, training mentoring and workshops.
To lead the delivery of productions on time and in accurate response to the brief.
To provide technical and creative support for staff and students in the delivery of the specialist subject and extended curriculum offer.
Job Requirements
Excellent understanding and demonstration of all aspects of production including pre-production, production and post-production processes.
Excellent understanding of aesthetics and creative vision including showreels, promo and short film aesthetics.
Excellent knowledge of still and moving images cameras and still and moving image editing software such as Adobe Premiere Photoshop, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
The ability to work as part of a team and also able to work independently using your own initiative.
Knowledge of BlackMagic and Canon cameras and other filming equipment is desirable.
Knowledge of grip, rigging and camera technologies is desirable.
Our production company works directly with trainees and students and therefore a commitment to safeguarding and child protection is essential.
A collaborative approach and a willingness to lead skills workshops and training programmes is desirable.
