About REME Museum
The REME Museum tells the story of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), formed in October 1942. Whether it’s keeping an Apache helicopter battle-ready or recovering a Challenger tank under fire, REME personnel make sure the British Army's cutting edge kit is ready for action.
Located in Lyneham, Wiltshire, the museum explores the people, equipment and stories behind the uniform, featuring displays from rare WW2 vehicles to a tiny toothbrush made by a REME prisoner of war.
