Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who will lead the marketing of BFI National Lottery funded activity in the UK.

Job Description

Plan and deliver cross-channel marketing plans for BFI National Lottery funded projects, with attention to key events and activities occurring throughout the year.

Devise marketing strategies and plans to support the BFI's Screen Culture strategy.

Devise and deliver marketing plans (including campaigns, events and outreach) to support the BFI Film Academy UK-wide programme and activity.

Work with the BFI NETWORK team to promote their talent development programmes and funded projects.

Work with UK filmmakers, and industry stakeholders to promote and support BFI NL Filmmaking Fund funded films and projects across festivals, awards and releases.

Provide marketing expertise and support to BFI Audience Fund activities including working in partnership with the BFI Film Audience Network (BFI FAN), its national and regional Film hub partners and the BFI NL Open Cinemas project (Escapes)

Provide marketing expertise and support to the BFI Skills Fund and activities, including working with funded and strategic partners such as Into Film

Establish a good, collaborative working relationship with Allwyn NLPU (National Lottery Promotions Unit) and when required, government departments.

Lead on the marketing support for the RSU, Certification and Inclusion teams also supporting the policy and strategy team as required.

Be a supportive and good team player, supporting others where you can, and actively participating in team meetings, events and the induction and training of new team members.

Support funded partners and projects on a daily basis regarding appropriate BFI NL branding ensuring consistency.

Work closely with the BFI Press & PR and Corporate Comms team, to actively encourage and ensure BFI National Lottery messaging is prominent throughout funded-partner marketing and comms.

Job Requirements

Experience of working in film or similar media marketing role within an agency or in-house marketing and communications environment.

Demonstrable knowledge & understanding of the film industry and key stakeholders including skills and training organisations

Demonstrable knowledge and experience of all key aspects of marketing including branding, email campaigns, web and social media, database management, advertising, design and print production.

Experience of event/exhibition production.
