Job Description
Role purpose
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, clear financial reporting, effective budget monitoring, and strong financial controls. The role will support the Director and Board of Directors to make informed decisions and will ensure that financial reporting to funders is accurate, timely, and aligned with project requirements.
This is a key role in a small arts organisation, requiring someone who is practical, organised, and confident working across day-to-day finance, management accounts, project reporting, and strategic financial planning.
The Finance Manager will have the support of the Director and other staff as required in delivery of the work outlined below, as well as a handover from our existing Finance Manager. We have experienced Accountants who guide the process of preparing and signing off the Statutory Accounts.
