Job Description

Position Overview: We are a seeking reliable, caring and enthusiastic Chaperone to support children and young people participating in our Dance Track Programme. Running for over 25 years, Dance Track is Birmingham Royal Ballet's flagship talent identification programme that aims to widen access and nurture potential.

Each year, more than 200 children across Birmingham take part in Dance Track, and every child on the programme receives free ballet training, uniform and additional opportunities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing and welfare of our young dancers while helping to create a positive and enjoyable experience.

Working closely with BRB and teaching staff, parents/carers and wider teams, you will supervise children during classes, ensuring safeguarding policies and licensing requirements are followed at all times.

Details for this role:
Fixed-term contract: from 08 September 2026 to 13 July 2027 (with room to extend past one academic year)

Working hours: Part Time, 3.75 per week, worked on Tuesday evenings during term time, from 4:15pm to 7:45pm

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Eligibility:
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, hold a current DBS check and a Chaperone Licence
