How Could I Forget? is a new musical full of heart, humour and unforgettable music, created by award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician Joe Carnall Jnr (Ex Reverend & the Makers, Milburn, Good Cop, Bad Cop), directed by Lauren Partridge, musical direction by Ed Cosens and produced by Swans Events.

Following a sell-out debut run in 2025, How Could I Forget? is going on a Yorkshire tour in 2026. Set in the beating heart of Sheffield, this show is a powerful and uplifting love letter to grandparents and family. It explores the intergenerational impact of Alzheimer's disease; what we take with us and what we leave behind.

We are seeking an Assistant Director for the show with experience working in musical theatre and/ or music background with a Yorkshire base. We would also be interested in meeting people who have movement and/or choreography skills who would be able to lead the performers in movement that works with the songs from the show. Please let us know if you have Stage Management experience, as we are also looking for an SM for one performance at Barnsley Civic on 21st October 2026.

Fee:
ITC rates £631 per week. For 1.5 weeks, including rehearsals and pre-production meetings, the total fee is £947.
