Job Summary
Job Description
-Point of contact for West End shows/venues, experiential projects, touring shows/venues and touring staff (where applicable); maintain regular communication with the house regarding inventory, pricing, product menus; process weekly orders; travel to local venues and tour cities as needed to assist with inventory checks, display updates and any other tour related administrative tasks; assist with creation and updates of souvenir brochures; in rare instances it may be necessary to step in for tour managers if an emergency occurs or to cover a holiday.
-Maintain a full understanding of our POS system Shopify; work with office and touring managers to be sure it's always updated with new product and/or any changes to the merchandise line including pricing and inventory levels; assist with creation of any necessary tech or operational manuals necessary for staff.
-Assist Operations Manager with various tasks/projects including creating and maintaining an archive of all visual displays, creating and installing Visual Display elements across all projects, maintaining product menus and price lists and any other tasks deemed necessary for daily operations.
-Assist with oversight of all general office duties including ordering supplies, maintaining our product archive and supply cabinets, assist with scheduling of meetings as needed
-Ensure the successful launch and eventual close out of projects by coordinating all aspects involved with Operations Manager.
-Work with purchasing team, local warehouses, and other third-party vendors to manage and prioritize production and delivery schedules
-Assist with staffing and onboarding as needed.
-While these duties should serve as an overview of the position, duties and responsibilities may change or new ones assigned at any time by management.
Job Requirements
Essential
-Ability to climb stairs as our locations and displays are throughout historic theatres, buildings and areas that don't have lift access.
-Able to stand long periods as we work at shows and events where we must move throughout the venues over the course of a show and sitting is rarely an option.
-Must be able to lift and move heavy items up to 25 kg without assistance as we receive regular shipments of merchandise that must be moved throughout the areas we work in
Desirable
-1 -2 year's experience theatre retail, project management or similar work experience
-College degree, or equivalent work experience.
-An organized team-player with excellent verbal and written skills.
-Maintain a high level of integrity and dependability
-Maintains and protects confidential work matters and is collaborative and flexible.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GSuite Apps (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Apple desktops; basic design knowledge (InDesign, Photoshop) is helpful.
