Job Summary

The Programmes Team is responsible for the development, design and delivery of National Saturday Club’s unique framework of national events for an expanding network of Saturday Clubs across the UK.

Job Description

The Programmes Team is responsible for the development, design and delivery of National Saturday Club's unique framework of national events for an expanding network of Saturday Clubs across the UK (129 Clubs, 2,250 young people and 300 creative educators in 2025/26).

The Programme Coordinator (National Events) will coordinate an annual programme of events for 13-16-year-olds and creative educators, including the London Visit, Summer Show, Graduation Ceremonies, Tutors' Programme and Youth Board.

Reporting to the Programme Manager (National Events) and working closely with the wider National Saturday Club team, the postholder will provide core administrative support for the national programme, while playing an active role in the planning, coordination and delivery of large-scale events and exhibitions. The role involves working with a wide range of partners across universities, colleges and cultural institutions to support the development of an ambitious, engaging and forward-looking programme.

The successful candidate will be a highly organised, positive and proactive team player, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality events for young people and creative educators. They will have strong administration, communication, event planning and operational skills, with excellent attention to detail and confidence using digital systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in creative programming and event production. The role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about delivering impactful experiences for young people and is keen to build expertise in the coordination and delivery of large-scale education and cultural programmes.

Please note that many national events take place on Saturdays, and the role therefore requires some weekend working, which is compensated through TOIL. Some national travel will also be required.
