About the Show
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's a beautiful day by the coast.
The sky is blue & there's not a cloud in the sky…
oh no wait, what's that?
A cloud?
Nevermind.
Join us for a spot of cloud spotting with your little one.
Explore, interact & play through the changing weather,
or find a comfy spot to relax and watch the clouds float by.
Because if we know anything about living by the sea,
it's that the weather can change any moment.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cloudy will be a small/mid-scale touring show suitable for both studio and community spaces exploring the weather, emotional regulation & environmental themes. Live music, key word signing, integrated AV & LX plus highly visual design elements shaped for Early Years audiences will create a complete , tailored, sensory experience.

Job Requirements
We're looking for an experienced Theatre Director who has experience making work for Early Years audiences or who specialises in making this type of work.
Part of the project activity includes the design & development of a universal/adaptable Early Years set so we're particularly interested in working with a creative who is curious and happy to explore more broadly with us what Early Years work what can or should look like.
We expect that the finished production of Cloudy will include Audio visuals elements, including integrated music, lights and projection so experience working with technical elements in production and with a larger creative team is important.
Job Responsibilities
We're looking for a collaborative Director who is happy to be part of a team of creatives all working together to develop & rehearse Cloudy. Sometimes the Director will be holding the room but at other times their input may be more reflective or advisory. We want someone whose brilliant creative judgement we can trust during the creation of Cloudy, but who knows when their role is best served by facilitating the creativity of others in the room.
