Achates' clients often approach us at times of transformation, new direction, challenge and change - as they look to new audiences and communities, embark on major capital projects, or re-assess their approach.

Our clients are facing an increasingly complex landscape; traditional funding sources are under pressure, audience expectations are changing, and rising costs are forcing companies to do more - with less. At the same time, teams are being asked to demonstrate impact, diversify income and build long-term resilience, often without the capacity, confidence, or space to experiment. This has created an urgent need for new, more sustainable approaches to income generation.

As a Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in achieving their aims of raising and generating money, using Achates' distinctive purpose-led approach, in the context of an ever-changing funding and cultural landscape. This role is directly client-facing, held accountable to a monthly target of billable days and reports directly to the Director of Income Generation.

This is a home-based, flexible role available 4-5 days a week, by mutual agreement, and we are open to applications from across the country, with one day of co-working in London per month required (with travel at employees' own expense). Travel to and from meetings with clients is reimbursed.
