This is the starting salary for this role unless the successful candidate is able to evidence being in receipt of a higher salary in which case this may be reviewed

About the role

The British Library is looking for a Conservation Team Leader to join our Conservation Department.

As Conservation Team Leader, you will lead and develop a team of book and/or paper conservators, delivering conservation programmes and projects that preserve and improve access to the Library's collections. You will oversee workloads, resources and project delivery, provide specialist conservation expertise, and support the professional development of your team. Working collaboratively across the Library, you will help maintain high conservation standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of conservation practice and service delivery.
