This is an exciting opportunity to support the Fuel producing team in delivering our ambitious programme of live performance, working with brilliant artists, venues & partners across the UK & beyond. As Programme Assistant, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of Fuel's projects.

Job Description

Fuel is looking for an enthusiastic and attentive Programme Assistant to join the team.

The Programme Assistant will support the producing team in delivering Fuel's exciting and diverse programme of work and will work within our core values of curiosity, trust, learning, representation, sustainability and creativity.

You'll be line managed by our Senior Producer and work closely with producers across a wide range of productions while developing your skills in independent producing. This is a full-time, fixed-term role for two years, with hybrid and flexible working options.

Job Requirements

Essential Experience, Knowledge, Attributes & Skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- The ability to forward plan, predict and use initiative in managing busy schedules
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- An understanding of the importance of attention to detail and a rigorous work ethic
- Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft Office)
- The ability to work discreetly with confidential information
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work with a wide range of people from varied backgrounds

Desired Experience, Knowledge, Attributes & Skills
- Familiarity with Fuel's projects and the artists with whom we work and the audiences we engage
- An understanding of and a passion for contemporary theatre and live performance
- An understanding of or experience working in the wider arts sector in the UK

Job Responsibilities

To support Fuel's team of producers in the delivery of a wide range of projects. Tasks may include:
- Arrange rehearsal & tour logistics - travel, accommodation, etc.
- Liaise with venues, production partners, cast & creative team members & their agents about rehearsal & tour logistics
- Monitor, analyse & report on ticket sales
- Support delivery of marketing & communications plans, working closely with the Communications Manager
- Support project evaluation including drafting evaluation reports
- Fundraising support: research funding opportunities, draft solicitation plans & administration
- Take minutes at production & key meetings
- Finance support: budget management & reconciliation, administration
- Draft, circulate contracts & tour packs for creative teams, artists
- Draft, update prospective partner packs for projects
- Collate evaluative data for board & Arts Council England reporting
- Support the delivery of engagement activity
- Administrative tasks including filing
