Job Summary
Job Description
Collaborating closely with the Director and the rest of our small team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering the systems that allow our programmes and people to thrive. You will be responsible for our operational management systems, processes and practices, ensuring we remain legally compliant. You will also ensure all our operations are carried out in an appropriate, accessible, environmentally sustainable and cost-effective way. There is also a responsibility to manage our venue, The Chapel, maintaining a space that's highly accessible as a place to work, rest, meet, create, store and share. The postholder will play a pivotal role in our mission to create innovative opportunities to deliver work which positively impacts our communities, and the role will play a key role in ensuring that all of our activity is connected and effectively delivered.
Job Requirements
Solid organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
Brilliant interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels of the organisation and within a wide variety of departments.
Good attention to detail, along with excellent written and oral skills, including drafting emails, minutes and reports.
Proficiency with a range of programmes and systems including all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), gsuite, online purchase order and HR systems and internet applications.
Proactive, positive and flexible approach.
A strong belief in the principles of diversity and inclusion.

Supervise our operations with confidence and an eye for detail, coordinating our systems to enable us to deliver our day-to-day activities and liaising with building stakeholders helping us to ensure that our important cultural resource has a profound impact on our community.
Ensure that our building is safe and well-presented at all times. Coordinating and overseeing building maintenance, contracts and utilities
Support Health & Safety within the organisation by maintaining compliance records and operations manuals, circulating policies and procedures to staff and service users
Manage our volunteer programme and assist with the effective delivery of our artist support Network.
