The Business Development Manager at Towneley Hall is a new role and will focus on generating opportunities and commercial partnerships to generate income, raise Towneley's profile, and position it as a distinctive destination. You will be responsible for developing new packages for weddings and events, sponsorship and other commercial opportunities, and organising income-generating activities and events. It is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful historic building with a busy innovative team.

Towneley Hall, Art Gallery and Museum is a Grade 1 listed historic hall, museum and art gallery with a collection of 30,000 objects. It operates as a high-quality visitor attraction and events venue and contributes to the cultural economy of Burnley and East Lancashire. It re-opened in 2025 following a £4.5m restoration and has unique heritage, architecture and collections. It's place-based identity has strong potential to be turned into compelling commercial propositions that attract customers, partners and supporters. This will be a busy role with potential to make a significant difference.
