Job Description
We are seeking a versatile, organised and proactive Tech Swing to join the team for Club NVRLND, a bold new immersive theatrical experience presented at The Vaults, Waterloo.
Fresh from a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Festival, Club NVRLND lands at The Vaults for a strictly limited season. This irreverent, high-energy immersive nightclub musical reimagines the story of Peter Pan through live performance and iconic 2000s anthems, inviting audiences to become part of the action in a unique theatrical experience where the party goes straight on till morning.
Working within a fast-paced immersive environment, the Tech Swing will provide support across multiple departments, with a primary focus on sound. The successful candidate will work closely with the technical, wardrobe and stage management teams, providing cover across departments and ensuring the smooth and safe delivery of every performance.

Contract: Equity House Agreement
Salary: £700 per week
Start Date: 2nd November 2026

Rehearsals commence: Monday 12 October 2026
Technical rehearsals commence: Monday 9 November 2026
First Preview: Saturday 14 November 2026
Opening Night: Thursday 26 November 2026
End of initial booking period: Saturday 27 March 2027
End of contract: Sunday 13 June 2027
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in live theatre or live events, with a strong background in sound.
Experience operating sound equipment and radio microphone systems.
A willingness and ability to support multiple departments, including lighting, wardrobe and stage management.
Experience working on musicals and/or immersive productions is desirable.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Job Responsibilities
Support the Sound No. 1 and Sound No. 2 during rehearsals and performances.
Cover Sound No. 2 as required.
Cover an allocated show track during performances.
Provide technical support as needed lighting department, including assisting with daily equipment checks and maintenance.
Assist with the preparation, maintenance and troubleshooting of sound equipment, radio microphones and communications systems.
Support technical rehearsals, fit-up, maintenance sessions.
Liaise effectively with Stage Management and all technical departments to ensure the smooth running of the production.
Technical support required on some evening's following the end of the show. Subject to additional payments.
Maintain excellent health and safety standards across all areas of responsibility.
