JOB DESCRIPTION: Actor-musicians required for early years panto
COMPANY: The Garage Norwich + All-In Productions
FEE: £625 p.w + per diems
LOCATION: Norwich
DATES: Monday 16 Nov - Friday 1 January
The Garage Norwich seeks two highly collaborative actor/musicians to form part of their festive company for this year's My First Panto: Goldilocks & The Three Little Bears. The Garage's My First productions have been enchanting early years audiences for over a decade and the productions are a safe and creative space for young children to experience their first piece of theatre.
Essential:
Drama school training
The skill to play an instrument and sing to a high standard (detail below)
Experience in devising and improvisation
A flexible and collaborative nature, suitable for interacting with early years audience
Experience with live-looping would be beneficial, but not essential.
Job Requirements
Goldilocks - Imbued with the playful, carefree chaos of youth. Mildly feral. Finds the joy in everything. Musically, acoustic guitar is essential + anything extra is a bonus, esp. lead instruments or anything in the folky world.
Mummy Bear - Holding the household together in a joyful and sometimes slightly stressed manner. Musically, bass, double bass, violin, cello, viola, flute, clarinet, mandolin would be great. Guitar a bonus. Also, any quirky handheld folk lead instruments could be fun.

Application deadline is Thursday 20 August with in-person recalls on Thursday 10 September in London and Monday 14 September in Norwich.
