Job Summary
Job Description
Working closely with the Head of LX, you will help manage an effective lighting department, maintaining the artistic integrity of the show's lighting design throughout the tour, in every venue while ensuring the smooth running of rehearsals, performances, get-ins and get-outs to the highest possible standard.
Job Requirements
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:
Professional theatre experience and qualifications relevant to the role.
Experience as a lighting technician at a similar professional level.
A strong understanding of theatre lighting systems, electrical installation, theatre rigging and safe working practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An understanding and appreciation of other theatre departments and the creative process.
Strong organisational and management skills.
A proactive, flexible and collaborative approach to work.
The ability to thrive within a close-knit touring team.
