As technical manager, you will be responsible for all technical departments and technical elements of the production, working closely with the remote production manager & designers to deliver every performance to the highest technical standard.

- Take overall responsibility for the technical delivery of the production at each venue.
- Lead the technical get in, setup, checks, performance and get out.
- Ensure all departments are show-ready and the production is delivered consistently to a high standard.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and make effective decisions under time pressure.
- Take responsibility for the touring technical package and ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Oversee the safe and efficient loading and unloading of the production vehicle.
- Carry out daily checks and ensure faults or maintenance requirements are dealt with promptly.
- Maintain high standards of organisation, presentation and safe working throughout the tour.
- Overview advancing for each venue (tour advancing is done by remote production manager), confirming technical specifications, access, power, rigging & parking for bus and truck.
- Liaise with technical managers and production teams ahead of each performance.
- Communicate any technical changes or requirements to the touring team.
- Lead and coordinate the touring technical team across audio, lighting, video and stage.
- Work closely with the production manager to maintain the daily touring schedule.
- Brief venue Crue and coordinate venue staff during get-in and get-out.
- Liaise with bus and truck drivers to ensure everybody is aware of travel & parking plans.
- Having an awareness of day to day health and safety.

Renumeration - £1,200 per week
