Job Description

The Student Careers and Industry Engagement Manager will lead the development and delivery of pointblank's Careers and Industry Engagement Strategy, driving graduate outcomes, industry partnerships, employability initiatives, alumni engagement, and professional opportunities for students.

This role can be considered with full-time or part-time hours with flexibility around delivery. Evening and occasional weekend attendance at industry events, employer engagement activities and student showcases may be required.

The postholder will be responsible for embedding employability across the curriculum, strengthening relationships with employers and industry partners, and ensuring students have access to meaningful career development opportunities throughout their studies.

The role combines strategic development with operational delivery and will oversee all careers-related activity, resources, communications and events, while coordinating the day-to-day functions currently delivered through careers and industry engagement provision. The role contributes directly to the institution's strategic priorities relating to student success, graduate progression, industry relevance and external engagement.

Job Responsibilities

With demonstrable experience of developing partnerships with employers, industry stakeholders or external organisations and of developing and delivering employability initiatives, events or careers programmes, you will have a strong understanding of contemporary music and creative-industry career pathways and a commitment to widening participation, accessibility and removing barriers to progression.
