Job Description

Building on our initial work with families across a range of activity, we are seeking a Family Programme Manager to support the development and delivery of Factory International's family offer.

This role will lead on the planning and delivery of family events and activity within the building while helping to strengthen relationships with families and communities across Greater Manchester. Working closely with the Young People and Family Lead, Creative Learning team and wider programme colleagues, the postholder will contribute to the development of future approaches to family engagement that are inclusive, welcoming and responsive to local communities.

This is an opportunity for someone who combines excellent project delivery skills with experience creating ambitious and engaging family activity that inspires curiosity, connection and participation.

Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL
- Experience delivering family, intergenerational or community engagement activity, ideally within arts, culture or creative learning settings.

- Experience coordinating and delivering projects from planning through to implementation and reflection.

- Experience building and maintaining relationships with families, communities, partners and stakeholders.

- Experience working collaboratively with artists, facilitators and cross-functional teams.

- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging a range of audiences and partners.

- Experience developing inclusive and accessible approaches to engagement and participation.

- Ability to gather insight, feedback and learning to support future programme development.

- Commitment to equity, inclusion and creating welcoming environments for children and families.

Job Responsibilities

- Work closely with the Young People and Family Lead to scope, develop and deliver family activity within the building and across communities.

- Coordinate programme logistics including scheduling, staffing, resources and operational delivery.

- Work with artists, facilitators and internal teams to support high-quality delivery.

- Build and maintain relationships with families, community organisations and partners across Greater Manchester to strengthen engagement and increase participation.

- Develop outreach approaches that connect with families beyond the venue and support ongoing engagement.

- Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership to extend the reach and impact of family programming.

- Gather insight, feedback and audience learning to inform future family engagement and programme development.

- Support the visibility and promotion of family activity through community networks and partner relationships.
