This role manages the Acton Communities programme within London Transport Museum's Communities and Participation department, which encompasses a range of activities, projects and work placements aimed to support communities local to our Depot site to feel ownership and pride in the Museum Depot and their community. These activities enable local communities to shape projects, displays, and research to be shared with visitors and to enhance LTM's understanding of its signs collection.

Part of a National Lottery Heritage Fund project focused on the Museum Depot's sign collection, this role will manage the development and delivery of short creative engagement courses, paid placements, community curated displays and the co- production of object labels and an audio guide. This role develops and maintains external partnerships with key local partners as well as works closely with participants.

Manager roles in Communities and Participation develop and manage the delivery of programmes, projects and engagement activities focused on sector-leading informal learning and engagement, skills-based training and creative co-produced projects. These activities are linked by their commitment to participatory practice, with delivery through responsive participant and community-led models and a focus on strong, long term partnership working with youth and community organisations. These activities deliver social impact for participants, foster more inclusive organisational and sector change and enhance the value and relevance of LTM to existing and new audiences.
