Job Summary

Bigfoot Arts Education is looking for two exciting and experienced solo performers to deliver their 'Littlest Christmas Elf' schools and nurseries tour this December.

Job Description

We are seeking one Yorkshire based and a North East based actor who can drive / has access to a car. The performer is responsible for get in and out and will generally deliver 2 x 45 minute shows a day, Monday to Friday (10am and 1.30pm) Pay is £80 for one show (Up to £240 per day) with additional travel expenses.

Rehearsals will take place late November and the tour will run from Wednesday 2 - Friday 18 December.

Job Requirements

Bigfoot is seeking a performer who can bring the character of The Littlest Christmas Elf to life with energy, charisma, and a sense of fun. Key skills required include improvisation, multi-rolling and the ability to engage and entertain audiences.

Please note that there will be both a Yorkshire and North East tour and we will be recruiting a seperate performer to deliver each of these. You must be willing to drive around your region.

You must hold a current DBS, be on the update service or willing to have one processed.

Job Responsibilities

Excellent performance skills, communication, organisation, and timekeeping required.

Live auditions will then take place on Monday 7 September in South Tyneside for North East candidates and Tuesday 15 September in Leeds for Yorkshire candidates.
