Job Summary
Job Description
We are seeking a Stage Manager for a paid engagement for a tour of studio theatres across the UK of a new two-hander play called CRUSH;
A British-Somali rom-com to warm your heart and hit you right in the feels.
A clinic waiting room. Two Somali teens. One awkward meet-cute. Najma has been in treatment for years. Zakariya's just starting out. She sketches. He writes poems. Neither of them is ready to talk. Until they meet each other.
As their sessions continue, so do the chats. And the jokes. And the secrets. Crush is a tender, funny and honest story about identity, connection and the messy path to healing.
The Stage Manager will work across both productions, operating sound and lighting via QLab, and will be a key member of the production team, supporting the rehearsal process and ensuring the smooth, safe, and consistent running of performances in a studio theatre environment. Full UK license required.
