Job Description

Brockley Voices are seeking a new Choir Director from late September 2026. We are a non-auditioned community choir local to Brockley in South East London. We've been meeting as group for over 14 years(!) and enjoy singing a wide range of SAB and SATB repertoire.

We love singing folksongs, sea shanties and songs from around the world as well as some classical and pop. Rehearsals are currently led from the keyboard on Tuesday evenings (19:30-21:00) during term time. Choir members use sheet music as a guide, however, learning by ear/rote has previously been explored.

We often work towards end-of-term performances and partner up with local community choir events to showcase what we've been working on!

Renumeration: ~ £8,000pa*
*Dependent on membership numbers, estimate based on current membership of 28 singers
