About us:
Founded in 2012 by award-winning actor Ashley Walters and producer Nagajan Modhwadia, Kingdom School of Arts is a leading part-time drama school bridging training and industry. We deliver exceptional teaching alongside real industry opportunities, preparing actors for the realities of the business. About the Course:
This one-year, part-time screen acting course is designed to advance students' skills in the core disciplines of film and TV performance. Industry professionals guide students through practical exercises to develop their screen craft, preparing them to deliver a high-quality performance on a professional set.

Areas covered include: technical requirements on-set, analysing text for screen, embodying actions, listening and responding, emotional preparation, improvisation for screen, and self-tapes. The course culminates in filming two industry-standard showreel scenes.

Commitment & Cover:
Teaching takes place on Sundays during the autumn term:

Class 1 - 20th September
Class 2 - 27th September
Class 3 - 4th October
Class 4 - 11th October
Class 5 - 18th October
Break - 25th October
Break - 1st November
Class 6 - 8th November
Class 7 - 15th November
Class 8 - 22nd November

Class times: 1pm-4pm and 5pm-8pm (3-hour sessions).

Tutors must commit to all Sundays within their term. If cover is needed for any sessions, tutors will work collaboratively with the KSA team to arrange the most suitable cover tutor to ensure continuity and quality of teaching.

Contract & Pay:
Freelance / Term-by-term contract.
Rate: £32.50 per hour for teaching, plus additional rates for administrative work and end-of-term reports.
