Are you passionate about the visual arts and interested in helping shape the future of an ambitious, artist-led organisation?
The Federation of British Artists (FBA) is seeking a new Finance and Budget Committee member to join our Board and contribute to the next chapter of one of the UK's leading visual arts charities.
Based at Mall Galleries in London, the FBA champions living artists through exhibitions, education and public engagement. Working with nine member art societies, we support artistic excellence, create opportunities for artists, and help inspire new audiences to engage with their work.
Job Requirements
The Finance and Budget Committee meets four times a year for a couple of hours. Members are expected to attend all meetings.
Job Responsibilities
We are specifically looking for a qualified accountant to join the Committee to assist with scrutinising financial planning, results and the budget process and to support the Executive Team in all financial matters.
Above all, we are looking for people who bring curiosity, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to the FBA's charitable purpose. Understanding of and enthusiasm for the visual arts is highly valued.
