Stories in the Dust are excited to be working on an important Pride in Place community project this Sept/Oct and are looking to employ a freelance Illustrator/Animator to create a 6-8 minute film that encapsulates the authentic experiences of young people living on Bemerton Heath in Salisbury. The outcomes of this important project will be presented to Wiltshire Council in October and will support the decision making on how to improve the local area for young people.

The company require an Illustrator/Animator to elevate and animate young people's artwork by lifting and animating them from the page. The video should remain embedded in the young people's work but also feel inspiring and polished, with the addition of professional illustrations to add to and build the world of the video. This is a collaborative project, and we are looking for someone open to adding fun and creativity to take the video to surprising places.

The company leads will gather the participants' artwork and audio recordings of them speaking, which will be edited into a composed track to inspire the video. This role is remote and no facilitation is required.
